Last one!!! :)))

Throughout this year I wrote 34 post! Pretty much all my blogs were school based. I usually did them in English class or in my study hall. Honestly, i did not expect any comments on my post at all from teachers and students. I had 11 comments on my post all together. The one i had the most comments on was my homecoming blog activity. I think i had the most comments on that because i wrote what i did with my friends homecoming week. Everybody does different things during the week and maybe it gave them ideas on what to do. The post that i enjoyed writing the most would have to be my summer highlight. What happened to me in the summer of 09 i will never forget and i just had fun writing about it. I learned a good lesson that summer. Probably the best one in awhile. Our English teacher made us change our themes on what we posted about. They were always something different. I think she did this because she knew us. She knew that if we did the same thing every time we would get bored doing it. Throughout all my blog post i have 6 widgets. This is the perfect amount. It is not to many but yet it is not to little. The widgets that i put on are short and let you know what you want to right away.

After writing this post i had my friend Lisa read it. Her reaction was pretty shocking. When writing anything i think i do bad. But when Lisa got done with it she said it was very good. The thing that most captured her attention was how i explained everything how i felt about it. Some things that i could improve is going in a little deeper in my explanations. She also said i could use a little better transitions. It distracted her that it was one big paragraph.

Creative Commons License

I think we should have a creative common license. I think this because personally i wouldn't want other people to have the opportunity to share my stuff. I wouldn't want my pictures or vidoes available to people so they could spread them around the world. I believe that people i don't even know look at my blog. People from all around the world i'm sure visit this site. Whether they are kids or not.

Videoo!!

We are reading "Animal Farm" by George Orwell right now. I choose this vidoe because it reminded me most about the video we watch in class. It shows Snowball talking infront of everyone.

Hmm.. Idk.

If the lights went out at our house it would be pretty fun. Us kids would probably play like hide and go seek in the dark. Without a doubt my mom would read a book in the candle light. My dad, well who knows with him. I think he would just go to sleep. If the lights went out at night time us kids, Justin, Karissa, and i would think about riding the four-wheelers. It definatly would be quite interesting.

You should...

I think students and others should visit my post because i'm usually always writing about something interesting. Mrs. Brogley, my teacher, always is having us post new stuff. Whether its about us or about a different topic. When she makes us post stuff about us it usually interesting because in my life there is a ton of crazy things happening to me. From reading my post you could learn about me. You could also could learn about other stuff that we post. For example i wrote a post about a spider and why i liked it.

I'm doing this because its a Veterans challenge.

Writting?!

Since we have been writing a lot i think i grew as a writer by facing my difficulties and getting through them. To me writing literary elements is the hardest thing. I have difficulties remembering how to set them up and stuff. My writing i think could be interesting at times, depending what i write about! If i write about my life it tends to be sorta interesting at times. I believe it is easier for people to write about their life then anything else. That is why i like writing about myself for class.

Guatemala

If i had a choice to choose what country i could communicate with i would pick Guatemala. I think it would be really sweet to know what it's like to live there. It would also be neat to learn their language. I don't really know anything about that country, but i think i would be cool to find out stuff. I would ask people about their culture and see if it's like ours here.

Randommm?!

Soo, this weekend my parents are going to Dominican Republic for vacation. I am very very excited. Words can't even explain how excited i am! there are leaving Friday and getting back friday, which means brother, sister, and i get to do basically whatever we want!! :) Yayyy! One bad thing about this though is that where they are going a little ways a way an earthquake occured. This earthquake killed thousands of people and i don't want my parents to be down there when and if that happens agian.. It has been on my mind all night and now today!!

Goalss...

As the end of the semester approaches I would like to keep getting in all my homework so my grades don't drop dramastically. I would also like to find time for more studying! For the most part i believe i had a good first semester for my sophomore year! My grades could be higher but i can work with what they are. Second semester i want to try doing more of my homework by myself instead of asking people for help. I would also like to do a better job on getting my homework in on time!

Over Break....

This year we had 11 days off of school for Christmas break, but for me i had 12! So i started right away with all the eating and celebrating!! The whole vacation i didn't get up till 12 or later! It was great! That would explain why it was real hard for me to get up for school this morning. My break involved in a lot of sleeping and eating which i loved!! :)) I also participated in a Seymour basketball holiday classic tournament! It was only two days long. There was 4 teams involved, Waupaca, Seymour, Denmark, and West Alice Nathan Hale. We lost our first game and won our second! Besides them games we basically had practice everyday.

Tarantulas

I think learning about spiders would interest me more. I've seen one spin a web before and i think its pretty sweet! In this article it says that they shed, and that's so true. My cousin had a pet tarantula once and i saw the shed! He kept it so long that it hatched babies! After the babies were hatched they ate the mom! Although i hate spiders and i think that tarantulas are very disgusting i wouldn't mind spending more time to learn about them.!

Most Challengiing Thiing.!

The most challenging thing that i ever had to do was probably switching schools. I switched from Shiocton School to Black Creek School. It was challenging because i already had friends in Shiocton and i knew it would be hard for me to let them go. It was hard to switch to a school where i didn't know anyone. I guess you could say I was successful! I made new freinds and I'm still in touch with my close friends from Shicocton!

Inspired....

The person that inspires me the most would be my dad. He has ever since i was little. He does everything. When i was little i hated sports with a passion. My dad played sports ever since he was young himself. He played basketball and softball, and I'm sure many other things. Well when i was in about second grade he tried getting me to play softball, and like i said i absolutely hated sports! But after awhile of him talking to me he got me too join. I didn't like it at the time but then he made me practice and go to his games. After awhile i started loving it... And now look where i am. My favorite sport would be softball, i love it. That would be one of the many ways he has inspired me.

Digital Footprint...

To me what we post is included in my digital footprint. Like what we write to people is included. Whether its instant messaging, emailing, or blogging. Also the pictures we put on the internet can impact the digital footprint. The stuff goes somewhere and can be stored for awhile. I think it would be okay if we started using our own picture and name right now. We are old enough and have been doing this long enough. We should be able to teach ourselves about internet savvy. We are into technology at this is and it wouldn't be hard for us to understand and learn about it. Although i do believe it is helpful our teachers talk to us about it and show us movies on internet savvy. I use the internet a lot! I go on facebook, myspace, and other websites for school. For most of this i use pictures of me and my friends at houses or events. I post stuff about me telling people what i'm like. Also i use my real name! If you wanted to you could find me on google, school website, facebook, myspace, and people123.com.

Without a doubt.... Spain!!!

If i had a choice to go to a country i think it would be Spain. This last summer my friend had an exchange student from Spain!! He was only a year older then me and my friend so we always hung out!! After a couple days we were inseperable!! He always talked about all the fun things they did and the fun things they could get away with! The Spain boy was cool and i think it would be amazing to go there and visit! Plus I'm taking a Spanish class and i think the would just help me grow on my speaking! So Spain would definalty be my choice!!

Halloween!!! :)) My fav.!

Halloween would be my favorite holiday! Its a time where you just get to have fun! There is always multiple parties to go too!! You get to dress up and be creative! I love spending time with my friends and during Halloween i get to do that! From going shopping to get our outfits and getting ready, then to going places I'm never alone! Ohh and you can't forget all the haunted houses we go to! I like hanging out with different people and this Holiday lets me do so! :))

A.... Trip!

If i could go anywhere i would go to Maui, Hawaii. It would cost about $15,000 for 6 people to go. My parents would go, my sister, two friends and of course me! We would be staying there for 7 nights and 8 days. We would have to take three flights to get there. It would be Milwaukee to Minneapolis, then Minneapolis to Los Angeles, finally Los Angeles to Kahului! When we arrive we will be staying in Royal Lahaina Resort!
